Iran’s Security Spokesman Asserts Strategic Balance Shift, Issues Firm Warnings
Tehran, Iran – Iran’s parliamentary National Security Commission spokesman, Ibrahim Rezaei, announced a significant shift in the strategic balance against what he termed “Zionist and American enemies,” asserting that Iran now holds the initiative. Rezaei’s remarks followed a session of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
Strategic Momentum and High Success Rates
According to Rezaei, reports presented during the commission meeting indicate that the “balance of the imposed war of the Iranian nation with Zionist and American enemies has shifted in Iran’s favor,” with the country maintaining the initiative. He further claimed that Iran’s recent missile and drone operations against these adversaries achieved a success rate exceeding 90%, inflicting what he described as “devastating and irreparable blows” in recent days.
Parliamentary Backing and Public Support
The National Security and Foreign Policy Commission members, Rezaei stated, unequivocally commended the successful operations of the armed forces in their confrontations. The commission also expressed appreciation for the “decisive and revolutionary stances” of the armed forces, emphasizing their resolve not to yield to enemies but to stand firm until their complete defeat and the establishment of stable security for Iran. Furthermore, appreciation was extended to the Iranian people for their “epic presence” in various arenas and to domestic security providers for their efforts.
Unwavering Foreign Policy Posture
Addressing foreign policy, Rezaei reiterated Iran’s firm position of having “no negotiations or dialogue with Americans.” He underscored that the nation’s entire focus is on the “field” – implying direct action and readiness – to deliver “devastating, regret-inducing, and instructive” responses to adversaries. He emphasized that there are “no red lines” in defending Iran’s borders, territory, interests, and people. Rezaei issued a stern warning, stating that any country assisting Iran’s enemies “will be considered among the enemies and dealt with as such.”
