IRGC Announces Extensive Strikes on Israeli and US Military Targets
Tehran, Iran – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced a significant new phase of its operations, targeting what it described as Israeli and American military infrastructure. According to a statement released by the IRGC Public Relations, the actions unfolded as “Wave 76” of “Operation True Promise 4,” utilizing a combination of advanced drones and missiles.
New Offensive Front Launched
The IRGC declared the opening of a “new offensive front” this morning, codenamed “Ya Abadullah Al-Hussein (AS),” against “American and Zionist targets.” This latest wave of operations is presented as a continuation of efforts to degrade the military capabilities of what the IRGC refers to as “hostile enemies.”
Targeting US Military Assets
The IRGC detailed strikes on several US military installations, stating that “powerful liquid-fuel ‘Qiam’ and solid-fuel ‘Zolfaghar’ drones and missiles” effectively targeted US bases. These included Al Dhafra, Victoria, facilities of the Fifth Fleet, and Prince Sultan Air Base. The announcement frames these strikes as part of an ongoing strategy to wear down adversary military infrastructure.
Strikes on Israeli Infrastructure
Simultaneously, the IRGC reported powerful strikes against Israeli military infrastructure across various locations. Areas targeted included Ashkelon, Tel Aviv, Haifa, the Gush Dan settlement, and Ashkelon in the south of the occupied Palestinian territories. The IRGC specified the use of “heavy, solid-fuel, guided-to-impact ‘Kheibar Shekan’ missiles” alongside liquid-fuel ‘Qiam’ missiles in these operations.
Strategic Assertions and Message
The IRGC emphasized that the sustained launch of its missiles and drones, coupled with their successful penetration of “ultra-advanced air defense systems” and effective impact on strategic targets, serves to refute the assertions of American and Zionist officials. The statement highlighted that these actions have “nullified the claims and illusions” regarding the supposed destruction of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s naval and missile capabilities.
