Israeli General Acknowledges Strategic Limitations Against Hezbollah
Reserve General Isaac Brick admits the occupied northern territories face a critical impasse, stating the Israeli military lacks the capacity to defeat Hezbollah.
Hezbollah’s Enduring Capabilities Highlighted
Reserve General Isaac Brick of the Israeli army has openly acknowledged the complex and misleading situation in the northern occupied territories. According to Channel 12 of the Israeli regime’s television, Brick asserted that the army is not capable of defeating Hezbollah. He emphasized that Hezbollah continues to possess the capability to launch missiles and drones, with its core strength situated north of the Litani River.
Inability for Occupation and Air Power’s Limits
The reserve general further elaborated on the strategic limitations, stating there is “no ability to occupy territories and remain in Lebanon.” He also highlighted that air power alone cannot be decisive in resolving the conflict. Brick cautioned against any promises of Hezbollah’s annihilation, describing them as selling illusions to the public.
Disruption and Persistent Rocket Fire in Northern Occupied Territories
In a related report, Channel 13 of the Israeli regime’s television underscored the continuous state of conflict in the northern occupied territories. Frequent and closely spaced air raid sirens have severely disrupted the daily lives of residents in the region. This Israeli media outlet reported that between 100 to 200 missiles and rockets are launched daily from Lebanon into the northern occupied territories. These attacks have reached as far as Haifa and occasionally Yoken’am, and even further south.
Hezbollah’s Extensive Rocket Arsenal
Channel 13 also noted that assessments by the Israeli army indicate Hezbollah possesses approximately 10,000 rockets. This substantial arsenal allows for the sustained launch of 100 to 200 rockets daily for several weeks, presenting a significant strategic challenge.
