Kermanshah Braces for a Noticeable Weekend Cooldown
KERMANSHAH – The Meteorological Office of Kermanshah Province has forecast a significant shift in weather patterns, with a drop in temperatures expected to conclude the week.
Stable Conditions to Give Way to Cooler Weather
In a detailed report, Ali Mohammad Zoravand, the Director General of Kermanshah’s Meteorological Department, outlined the upcoming conditions. Based on analyzed meteorological data, the province’s weather from Monday through the upcoming Saturday will be predominantly clear to partly cloudy. These conditions will be accompanied by periods of wind and cloud formation at various times.
Temperature fluctuations will vary across the region. A relative decrease in air temperature was noted for the province’s warmer areas on Monday. However, other areas are not expected to see a considerable change in temperatures until Wednesday.
Weekend Temperature Drop Forecast
The most significant change is anticipated later in the week. Mr. Zoravand specified that from Thursday through Saturday, a slight decrease in air temperature is expected across most of the province. This cooldown will be particularly noticeable on the final days of the week. The eastern regions of Kermanshah are expected to be an exception to this trend, with stable temperatures likely to persist there.
On the current high temperatures, it was reported that Qasr-e Shirin at 43 degrees Celsius and Sarpol-e Zahab at 42 degrees Celsius were registered as the province’s warmest locations today.
Official Advisory Issued
In light of the predicted weather conditions, officials have advised farmers, stakeholders, and the general public to take the necessary precautions in their daily schedules and weather-dependent activities.
