Tehran – Financial markets on Tuesday reported a slight easing in the value of major foreign currencies against the Iranian Rial, according to data from the official exchange center and market analysts.
Official Exchange Center Rates
At the designated Foreign Exchange Center, the official rate for the US Dollar wire transfer was set at 69,881 Tomans. The price for physical US Dollar banknotes was reported at 71,978 Tomans.
The Euro also saw its official rates published, with the wire transfer value at 81,310 Tomans and the physical banknote price at 83,749 Tomans. The UAE Dirham was priced at 19,028 Tomans for transfers and 19,559 Tomans for banknotes.
Free Market Fluctuations
In the open market, a general downward trend of approximately one thousand Tomans was observed for several key currencies. The US Dollar traded at 106,900 Tomans, while the Euro was reported at 124,700 Tomans.
The UAE Dirham experienced a minor decline in the free market, with its value settling at 29,116 Tomans. Other notable currencies, such as the British Pound, saw a slight adjustment to 142,020 Tomans, and the Turkish Lira was traded at 2,550 Tomans.
