
Iran Celebrates Academic Excellence: Top Scorers Honored in National University Entrance Exams
In a testament to the nation’s commitment to educational advancement, Iran’s top-performing students in the highly competitive 1404 university entrance exams have been announced. The results highlight the remarkable achievements of young scholars from across the country, showcasing a bright future for the Islamic Republic’s scientific and cultural development.

The announcement, made by Reza Mohammadi of the National Organization of Educational Testing, underscores the widespread geographic distribution of academic excellence. Top achievers hail from major cities and provinces, including Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, and beyond, reflecting the inclusive access to quality education throughout Iran.

The top ranks were secured by exceptional students in four key academic groups:
In the Experimental Sciences group, the most competitive field, the first to sixth ranks were awarded to Atriana Farahmand from Mashhad, Mohammad Aydin Monfared from Qom, Ariana Emami from Mashhad, Amir Mehdi Khazaei from Tehran, Navid Kordlu from Khodabandeh, and Matin Mahdavi Moghaddam from Mashhad.
In the Mathematics and Physics group, the top scorers are Aria Ebrahimi from Tehran, Amir Hossein Ebrahimi from Karaj, Hossein Dolati Javan from Mashhad, Amir Mohammad Tavana from Mashhad, and Danial Jeishi from Ahvaz.
In the Humanities group, the first to sixth places were secured by Zahra Shamsaei from Tehran, Javad Abdiyan Seyed Mahalleh from Sari, Sara Zabehi from Neyshabur, Seyed Mohammad Reza Mousavi Baz from Sari, and—marking a historic first—twin sisters Fatemeh Nateghi and Zahra Nateghi from Eslamshahr, who claimed the fifth and sixth ranks respectively.
In the Arts group, the top three positions were earned by Mobina Rostami Behnami from Maragheh, Melika Akbarzadeh from Urmia, and Fatemeh Ghobadi from Isfahan.
In the Foreign Languages group, the leading scorers are Alireza Esmaeili from Bushehr, Resa Dokht Jahanshahi from Tehran, and Aysan Azizpour from Qarchak Varamin.
