Nationwide Vehicle Registration Centers Resume Full Operations, Enhancing Citizen Services
Tehran, Iran – In a move aimed at streamlining administrative processes and ensuring citizen convenience, all vehicle registration centers across Iran have fully resumed their services starting today, April 3rd (Esfand 15th). This nationwide reopening signifies a commitment by the traffic police to provide consistent and specialized services to the public.
Extended Deadlines and Operational Readiness
Major General Seyed Timour Hosseini, the head of the FARAJA Traffic Police, announced the automatic extension of all existing vehicle registration power of attorney documents until the end of June. This measure is designed to accommodate citizens who may have faced delays in accessing these services.
During a site visit to the Ettehad vehicle registration center, General Hosseini emphasized the full operational capacity of all centers. He highlighted the significant volume of services provided even during the recent busy period at the end of the Persian year 1404 (2023), noting that over 250,000 registration services were successfully delivered across the country. This demonstrates the efficiency and continuity of the traffic police’s service provision.
Streamlined Appointment System for Public Access
The traffic police are reinforcing the existing appointment system to ensure an organized and efficient experience for all applicants. Citizens are encouraged to secure their appointments through the designated online platform. Once an appointment is confirmed, individuals can proceed to any registration center nationwide to complete their vehicle registration, plate issuance, and collection processes. All centers are now fully operational, with the appointment system functioning as per previous procedures.
Mobile Units Deployed to Key Provinces
In a strategic operational planning initiative, mobile vehicle registration units have been activated for several provinces deemed operationally sensitive. These include East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, and Khuzestan. This proactive deployment ensures that citizens in these regions can receive their required services without interruption, underscoring the traffic police’s dedication to continuous and accessible specialized service delivery across all parts of the country.
