Iran Announces New Financial Support Package for Educators
In a significant move to support the nation’s educators, the Iranian Ministry of Education has unveiled a new financial aid initiative. Registration for two specialized loan programs for teachers is set to begin next week.
A Commitment to Teacher Welfare
Amin Sheikhi, the head of the Welfare and Support Department of the Ministry of Education, announced the rollout of two distinct financial products: a Murabaha loan and an interest-free Qard-al-Hassanah loan. He emphasized that the core principle of this initiative is based on justice and addressing the genuine needs of the teaching community.
“Nothing is more important than the peace of mind of our teachers,” Sheikhi stated. “Securing their welfare is tantamount to an investment in the future of our society.”
Streamlined and Supervised Process
To ensure ease of access, the registration and application process for these loans will be managed at the local level by individual county and regional education offices. This decentralized approach is designed to allow educators to apply with greater convenience.
However, Sheikhi was quick to add that the entire process will be conducted under the direct supervision of provincial authorities. This oversight mechanism is intended to guarantee that the distribution of these facilities adheres to the highest standards of fairness, transparency, and accuracy.
