Tehran – A new, one-year contract for the supplementary health insurance of retirees and pensioners has been finalized, ensuring continued and expanded medical coverage for this segment of the population.
Finalized Agreement and Financial Structure
According to official details, the newly ratified contract sets the total supplementary insurance premium at 720,000 Tomans. Under this arrangement, 470,000 Tomans will be deducted from the retiree’s pension, with the remaining balance covered as the share of the Social Security Organization. This structured cost-sharing model underscores the organization’s commitment to supporting the welfare of retirees.
Comprehensive Coverage and Extensive Service Network
The agreement guarantees supplementary health insurance services for all Social Security retirees and pensioners for a full year. This extension provides vital stability and peace of mind for recipients and their families.
To fulfill the commitments of this new contract, a vast network of service providers is in place. This includes over 40 branch offices, approximately 710 agencies, and 11,000 medical and diagnostic centers across the nation, all prepared to deliver healthcare services to retirees, pensioners, and their dependents.
