Title: New Pension Payment Schedule Implemented to Streamline Banking Operations
Introduction
A new, structured payment schedule for national pensioners has been officially implemented, marking a shift from the previous payment window. The initiative, which began at the start of the current Iranian year, is designed to enhance coordination with the national banking network and streamline the disbursement process for all beneficiaries.
A Streamlined System
Previously, pension payments were made between the 20th and the end of each month. The updated system introduces a specific, alphabetically-organized timetable to ensure all transfers are completed systematically by the 30th of the month of Aban. This structural change aims to bring greater efficiency and predictability to the financial infrastructure supporting the nation’s retirees.
Payment Schedule for Aban
To facilitate a smooth transition, the detailed payment schedule for the current month is as follows:
- Pensioners with last names starting from A to CH: Wednesday, 28 Aban
- Pensioners with last names starting from H to SH: Thursday, 29 Aban
- Pensioners with last names starting from S to Y: Friday, 30 Aban
Pension Adjustments and Benefits
The pension amounts for retirees are determined based on the resolutions of the Supreme Labor Council. For the month of Aban, the following adjustments are in effect:
- Pensioners who previously received more than 7,166,000 Tomans have seen a 32% increase in their base pension.
- Those receiving the minimum pension have been granted a 45% increase.
Furthermore, additional standard benefits have been applied to the minimum pension, including family allowance, child benefit, housing allowance, and a subsistence coupon. These measures are part of the ongoing framework to support the financial well-being of retirees.
Forward-Looking Planning
Authorities have recommended that pensioners adjust their personal financial planning in accordance with the new calendar to ensure seamless management of household expenses. The implementation of this schedule reflects a commitment to administrative modernization and the continued support for the retired community.
