In a late-night statement on Tuesday, Peyman Haddadi, the President and a board member of Persepolis, confirmed that the club has engaged in talks with former manager Osmar for a potential return to the helm. Emphasizing the collaborative and transparent nature of the club’s decision-making process, Haddadi stated, “Since everything is transparent within the board, I spoke with Mr. Osmar, and the other members were present alongside me.”

The immediate focus remains on the tenure of current coach Vahid Hashemian. Haddadi announced that the board will convene on Wednesday for a decisive meeting. “On Wednesday, in the board meeting with the presence of the technical staff, we will make the final decision regarding the continuation of cooperation with Mr. Hashemian,” he declared, setting the stage for a critical announcement.
