Title: Persepolis Management Reaffirms Full Support for Head Coach Vahid Hashemian
In a firm statement addressing recent media speculation, Persepolis FC’s management has moved to quash rumors of any impending changes to the team’s technical staff, declaring unequivocal support for Head Coach Vahid Hashemian.
A Vote of Confidence
The clarification came from Mohammad Ansari, the club’s vice president, during a press interaction on the sidelines of a friendly match organized for working children. Ansari directly confronted the swirling rumors, labeling them as incorrect media conjecture.
“When the team has a head coach, it is our duty to support him with all our might, and the club will certainly do just that,” Ansari stated in response to journalists’ questions. “These discussions are merely incorrect media speculation.”
Addressing the Source of Speculation
Ansari specifically addressed one prevalent rumor concerning the potential addition of Hossein Abdi to the technical cadre. He clarified that such speculation likely stemmed from his own professional history with Abdi, rather than from any club directive.
“Last year, I had the honor of being a coach under Mr. Abdi in the national youth team,” Ansari explained. “Perhaps because of this past association, some are guessing that such a move might happen. However, I emphasize that the club’s position remains one of complete support for its current choice.”
Reiterating the management’s steadfast position, the vice president concluded, “As long as Mr. Hashemian is the head coach, we will provide him with our full support.”
