Title: Rural Housing Initiative Gains Momentum with Increased Loan Caps
In a significant move to bolster rural development and housing infrastructure, the Housing Foundation of Bam County has announced a substantial increase in the ceiling for housing construction and renovation loans. This initiative is specifically targeted at supporting residents in villages and towns with populations under 25,000.
Expanded Financial Support for Homeowners
Mohammad Sadegh Pakzad, Director of the Housing Foundation in Bam County, detailed the new measures. The loan ceiling has been raised from 350 million tomans last year to 400 million tomans for the current year. This enhancement is designed to provide greater financial support to eligible citizens, enabling them to build new homes or renovate existing ones, thereby improving living standards in these communities.
Eligibility and Application Process
Prospective applicants who meet the necessary criteria are encouraged to visit the local Housing Foundation office. After completing the required legal procedures, successful applicants will formalize their contracts with one of the agent banks participating in the program. This streamlined process is intended to facilitate efficient access to financial resources.
Regional Allocation and Coverage
Director Pakzad specified that the Housing Foundation’s allocated quota for Bam County this year is 300 loan facilities. The initiative covers the towns of Baravat and Dehbakri, along with villages in the central, Dehbakri, and Baravat districts. This targeted approach ensures that development is widespread and reaches the intended beneficiaries across the region.
Current Progress and Acknowledgments
The program is already showing positive traction. To date, 150 of these facilitated loans have been successfully introduced to and absorbed by the partner banks. Pakzad concluded by expressing his appreciation for the effective cooperation of the selected bank branches in the county, whose collaboration has been instrumental in the smooth disbursement of these funds.
This policy underscores a continued commitment to strengthening rural communities and supporting citizen welfare through tangible economic measures.
