Iran’s Social Security Organization Announces New Pension Payment Schedule for 2024
In a move aimed at enhancing fiscal efficiency, Iran’s Social Security Organization has implemented a new schedule for the disbursement of pension payments starting in the new Iranian year (1404). The payments, which were previously made earlier in the month, will now be deposited during the final three days of each month.
This strategic shift is designed to optimize the management of the high volume of transactions and improve coordination with the national banking network. The reorganization of the payment cycle is expected to streamline operations and ensure smoother financial processing for all beneficiaries.
For the month of Shahrivar (September 2024), pensions for Social Security retirees will be deposited on the 29th, 30th, and 31st. Furthermore, state retirees will receive their pensions on the 30th of Shahrivar, while military retirees will receive theirs on the final day of the month, the 31st. This structured approach ensures a clear and organized timeline for all pensioners.
