Iranian Pension Funds Announce Streamlined September Payment Schedule
In a move aimed at enhancing fiscal efficiency, the schedule for depositing September pension payments for Iranian retirees has been officially set for the final three days of the month.
A Shift in Fiscal Management
Since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 2024), the Social Security Organization has implemented a new policy for disbursing pensions. Payments are now consolidated and processed during the last three days of each month. According to official statements, this strategic change was enacted to better manage the high volume of transactions and to increase coordination with the national banking network, thereby streamlining the payment process for millions of retirees.
September 2024 Payment Dates
Retirees under the coverage of the Social Security Organization will receive their September pensions on September 20, 21, and 22 (corresponding to the 29th, 30th, and 31st of Shahrivar 1404).
Furthermore, specific dates have been designated for other pension funds:
- State Retirees (retired government employees) will be paid on September 21 (30th Shahrivar).
- Military Retirees will receive their pensions on September 22 (31st Shahrivar).
This structured approach ensures a systematic and organized transfer of funds across the country’s financial system.
