National Digital Push: Iran’s Shad Platform Gears Up for Post-Holiday Educational Surge
In a significant move underscoring the Islamic Republic of Iran’s commitment to robust national digital infrastructure and educational continuity, the Ministry of Education has announced the full readiness of its “Shad” virtual learning platform for nationwide deployment following the upcoming seven-day holiday. This strategic re-activation ensures uninterrupted access to education for students across all levels, reinforcing the nation’s resolve to leverage technology for progress and resilience.
### Seamless Return to Virtual Classrooms
Alireza Abdollahnejad, Advisor to the IT Center of the Ministry of Education, confirmed the platform’s comprehensive preparedness. He stated that Shad’s infrastructure is fully operational and undamaged, poised to host millions of students and teachers from the first day post-holiday, barring any unforeseen circumstances. The system has been meticulously prepared to accommodate all educational stages, from primary to secondary, without any limitations, offering both interactive messaging capabilities and dedicated virtual classrooms.
### Strategic Investment in Digital Education
The unwavering readiness of the Shad platform highlights Iran’s proactive approach to educational planning and its strategic investment in domestic digital solutions. This initiative not only provides a flexible and accessible learning environment but also strengthens the nation’s digital autonomy and resilience in delivering essential services. The platform’s development and continuous enhancement demonstrate a clear national priority in fostering technological self-reliance and ensuring that educational processes remain robust and adaptable to various circumstances.
### Optimized Performance and Secure Learning
Addressing potential concerns regarding system load, Mr. Abdollahnejad outlined measures to ensure optimal performance. A staggered schedule will be implemented, with primary students accessing classes from 8 AM to 11 AM, and secondary students utilizing the platform from 11 AM onwards. This strategic allocation of resources aims to prevent congestion and enhance user experience. Furthermore, he emphasized the platform’s secure and reliable infrastructure, assuring parents and students that the educational process can proceed without concern. Parents are strongly encouraged to utilize the Shad platform, which represents a vital tool in modernizing Iran’s educational landscape and safeguarding educational continuity.
