Pension payments for the month of Mehr (October) began today, Monday, and will continue over the next three days. The funds are being transferred through designated agent banks according to a structured alphabetical system:
- Monday, October 20: Beneficiaries with last names starting with letters Alef to Che (A to Ch).
- Tuesday, October 21: Beneficiaries with last names starting with He to Shin (H to Sh).
- Wednesday, October 22: Beneficiaries with last names starting with Sad to Ye (S to Y).
This new three-day schedule marks a significant acceleration from the previous system, where payments were spread across the final ten days of the month. Officials state the change was implemented to enhance coordination with the banking network and expedite the entire payment process for recipients.
Supplementary Payment for Eligible Retirees
In a move that will provide additional financial support to a specific group of pensioners, the October payment cycle includes a supplementary disbursement. Eligible retirees will receive an adjustment payment to cover a differential from their April 2024 pension.
