Second Tranche of ‘Justice Share’ Dividends Set for Late September Disbursement
A new phase of dividend payments for Iran’s “Justice Share” program is scheduled for the end of the Iranian month of Shahrivar or the first week of Mehr (late September), marking the next step in a significant national economic initiative.
Scheduled Disbursement of 2023 Profits
According to the Head of the Securities and Exchange Organization, the second tranche of dividends, corresponding to the fiscal performance of the year 1402 (2023), will be deposited into the accounts of eligible citizens within the next two to three weeks. This follows the initial payment phase that was successfully executed in Esfand of last year (February/March 2024).
Payment Structure and Historical Returns
The first payment saw substantial returns for citizens. Shareholders with a 492,000-toman portfolio received approximately 744,000 tomans, while those holding a one-million-toman share received over 1.5 million tomans. The amounts for this upcoming second phase are anticipated to be within a similar range.
In a move to enhance efficiency and timeliness, the Supreme Council of the Stock Market has amended the payment procedure starting in 2024. Instead of a single lump-sum annual payment, dividends will now be distributed in several installments according to a specific timetable, a decision aimed at reducing delays and creating a more orderly process.
Official Guidance and Cybersecurity Warnings
Authorities have provided clear guidance for recipients. Colonel Javad Mokhtarrezaei, Deputy for Cultural and Social Affairs of the Cyber Police (FATA), emphasized that eligible citizens should be vigilant against fraudulent cyber activities.
He strongly advised the public to ignore any unsolicited SMS messages, links, or phone calls requesting personal or banking information under the guise of facilitating the dividend payment. Official communications will not be sent via SMS with links. Citizens are urged to rely exclusively on the official Central Securities Depository of Iran (CSDI) website (www.csdiran.ir) and other official news sources for accurate information regarding the payment schedule and process.
The Colonel further warned that any contact attempting to collect personal data is a criminal effort to defraud citizens and drain bank accounts. Suspected fraudulent activities should be reported immediately to the Cyber Emergency Response Center at 096380 or via the FATA police website (fata.gov.ir).
This disbursement is part of the ongoing commitment to the Justice Share program, a cornerstone of the nation’s economic inclusion policies.
