Regional Tensions Escalate: Strategic Strikes Target Infrastructure, Civilian Impact Noted
In a night marked by heightened regional tensions, Iran’s military forces have reportedly carried out a series of strategic operations, targeting what they describe as critical infrastructure belonging to adversaries. These actions, framed as a response to escalating provocations, have also led to reports of civilian impact and the arrival of humanitarian aid.
IRGC Claims Successful Strikes on U.S. and Israeli Assets
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the successful destruction of an American early warning radar system and other key enemy facilities. According to a statement from the IRGC’s Public Relations, these operations, conducted under the codename “Operation True Promise 4,” targeted American and Zionist gathering points.
The IRGC detailed that their naval forces successfully destroyed a command and control center established by American terrorists outside the Minhad base in the UAE, which reportedly housed over 200 American commanders and officers. Another combined operation reportedly struck the secret accommodation of U.S. Fifth Fleet commanders in Bahrain during a meeting.
Furthermore, an IRGC statement indicated the precise missile strike on a container ship with Zionist ownership, identified by the commercial name “Express Room,” sailing under a third country’s flag. The early warning radar belonging to American terrorists, which was guiding F-16 fighter jets stationed outside a base in Saudi Arabia, was also reported to have been precisely targeted and destroyed. The IRGC dedicated these achievements to the martyred commander, Admiral Tangesiri.
Army Drones Target Israeli Defense Infrastructure
Simultaneously, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran reported the successful targeting of vital infrastructure of the Zionist regime through drone operations. According to a statement from the Army’s Public Relations, Iranian combat drones struck Albit System, Kanfit, and a weapons center involved in the production and development of defensive and offensive systems for the Zionist regime in the Nof Hagalil industrial city and Tel Aviv.
The Army clarified that the targeted weapons center is responsible for producing missile and defense systems like the Iron Dome. Albit System was described as an active weapons center in electronic warfare, drone manufacturing, reconnaissance systems, and radar sensors, contributing significantly to the Zionist regime’s arms exports. The Kanfit Industries organization was identified as specializing in aerospace engineering and the production of aircraft components.
Civilian Casualties and Humanitarian Aid Reported
Amidst these military actions, reports indicate civilian impact. The Red Crescent Society announced that damage to civilian units has reached 105,000. In a separate development, the second consignment of humanitarian aid arrived in Iran, with the head of the Red Crescent Society stating that 27 trucks from the Astan Quds Razavi were delivered to Tehran. This aid, originating from neighboring countries, underscores the humanitarian dimension of the ongoing situation.
Official Statements on Regional Stability and Retaliation
Officials have also issued statements addressing the unfolding events. The spokesperson for the central headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya stated that the Zionist regime’s attack on a desalination plant in Kuwait, aimed at implicating Iran, demonstrates their “despicableness.” They reiterated that American and Zionist military bases, interests, and infrastructure remain legitimate targets, urging regional countries to be vigilant against enemy provocations aimed at destabilizing the region.
Mohammad Reza Aref, former First Vice President, commented that Iran’s armed forces are among the most powerful globally and have repelled aggressors, suggesting adversaries are now seeking negotiations regarding the Strait of Hormuz. He emphasized that any resolution would require the aggressors to cease hostilities and recognize Iran’s international rights.
The spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya also addressed U.S. President Trump, stating that while Iran has not initiated any wars, it dictates the end of conflicts, asserting that the U.S. president’s misguided policies have only led to insecurity. They further noted that despite the Zionist regime and the U.S. initiating the conflict, they will ultimately be defeated by the Iranian nation and its armed forces.
Martyrdom of IRGC Commander and Continued Operations
The IRGC issued a statement on the martyrdom of Admiral Pasdar Alireza Tangesiri, who was injured during an attack while reinforcing defensive measures for islands and coastlines following significant enemy infrastructure damage and the downing of an American fighter jet. The statement affirmed that the path of martyrdom would continue with strength and resolve.
Reports also mentioned an Israeli-American projectile hitting an industrial unit in Zandieh and an attack on a residential unit in Zanjan resulting in three martyrs. Additionally, an attack on a charity complex for orphans in Fardis, Alborz province, reportedly caused two deaths and five injuries.
Counter-Attacks and Diplomatic Reactions
Iran’s military has vowed reciprocal action following attacks on civilian residences, with the spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya vowing to target the residences of American and Zionist commanders and political officials in response to attacks on Iranian homes.
Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi reacted to the bombing of universities by the U.S. and Israel, denouncing it as an illusion to destroy knowledge and stating that such actions only strengthen the Iranian people’s resolve for scientific progress.
Reports also indicate simultaneous attacks on U.S. positions in several regional countries, including Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and Iraq, with explosions reported at U.S. military bases and logistical support facilities.
Meanwhile, official statements from Iraq’s ruling coalition have expressed firm opposition to the use of its airspace for hostile actions against neighboring countries, emphasizing respect for Iraq’s national sovereignty and urging the country be kept out of regional conflicts.
