Tehran Prepares for Seasonal Shift as Cooler Weather Approaches
A significant shift in weather patterns is set to bring a noticeable change to Tehran’s climate beginning next week, according to meteorological analyses and synoptic models.
Forecast Predicts Clear Skies and Strong Winds
Meteorological assessments predict that residents of the capital can expect generally clear to partly cloudy skies in the afternoon hours, accompanied by an increase in wind intensity. This change marks the beginning of the autumn season’s influence on the region’s weather.
Advisory for Southern and Western Regions
In line with a yellow-level advisory issued for specific hours, parts of the southern and western areas of Tehran province may experience strong winds. These conditions could occasionally lead to the rise of local dust or the transfer of dust from neighboring provinces. This is expected to result in a temporary reduction in air quality and visibility. Meanwhile, elevated areas of the province may see an increase in cloud cover and scattered precipitation.
Significant Temperature Drop Expected
Based on available data, a substantial cooling trend is forecast. Tehran’s maximum temperature is predicted to drop from 37 degrees Celsius to 28 degrees, signifying a 9-degree decrease that will bring noticeably cooler conditions to the metropolis. A downward trend in the capital’s minimum temperature is also anticipated.
