IRGC Declares “61st Surge of True Promise 4” Missile Operation
Tehran, Iran – March 18, 2026 – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced today the successful execution of what it described as the “sixty-first wave” of its “True Promise 4” operation. The IRGC stated that this extensive missile strike targeted Tel Aviv, which it characterized as the “center of evils of the wild Zionist regime.”
Operation Details and Munitions
According to a statement released by the IRGC’s information website, the operation involved the deployment of several advanced missile systems. These included the multi-warhead Khorramshahr 4 and Ghadr missiles, alongside Emad and Kheibar Shekan projectiles. The IRGC reported the operation was launched under the code “Ya Ababdallah Al-Hussain (AS).”
Stated Objectives and Impact
The Guard Corps emphasized that a primary objective of this “swift and intense” operation was to retaliate for “the blood of Martyr Dr. Ali Larijani and his companions.” The IRGC further asserted that the Khorramshahr 4 and Ghadr missiles successfully struck over 100 military and security targets located in what it referred to as the “heart of the occupied territories.” It claimed these strikes occurred “without interference,” citing a “collapse of the Zionist regime’s multi-layered and ultra-advanced defense system.”
Reported Casualties and Infrastructure Damage
Following the aerial assault by the IRGC Aerospace Force, field information cited by the IRGC indicated power outages in parts of Tel Aviv, reportedly making it more challenging for local authorities to manage the situation and deliver aid. Initial assessments provided by the IRGC estimated casualties from the attack to be over 230 killed and wounded.
