People’s Power: Iran’s Strength Disrupts Adversary Strategies, Says Top Security Official
Tehran, Iran – Saeed Jalili, the representative of the Islamic Revolution Leader in the Supreme National Security Council, has asserted that the collective power of the Iranian people has fundamentally disrupted all calculations of the nation’s adversaries. Speaking at a celebration of the Islamic Revolution’s victory in Rasht, Jalili highlighted Iran’s indigenous capabilities as a formidable force that continues to vex its opponents.
Iran’s Indigenous Power Base
Jalili emphasized that Iran’s strength is not derived from external sources but is a product of the nation’s own efforts and resilience. He pointed to Iran’s advancements in various sectors, specifically mentioning its hypersonic capabilities. “Iran possesses hypersonic capabilities, and the hypersonics of this nation can shake Tel Aviv,” he stated, underscoring the country’s defense prowess. He added that the Supreme Leader’s declaration that Iran is “near the summit” signifies that despite all obstacles and efforts by adversaries, they have failed to achieve their objectives against the Iranian nation.
Exposed Intentions of Adversaries
According to Jalili, recent events have served as an opportunity to expose the true intentions and stratagems of Iran’s adversaries. He argued that their deceit has been laid bare, making it impossible for them to credibly claim support for the Iranian people while simultaneously engaging in actions such as assassinating the nation’s youth. He further criticized what he described as a lack of logic from adversaries, citing instances where Iran was allegedly attacked with missiles during negotiations, leading to the martyrdom of 14 university professors along with their families and neighbors in a single night.
Revolution’s Enduring Legacy
Jalili attributed the adversaries’ palpable frustration to the enduring and vibrant power of the Islamic Revolution, which remains strong and active even after 47 years. He questioned the frantic reactions of Iran’s opponents, including the alleged admission by a US President of personally commanding a “12-day war,” if the Islamic Republic’s strength was not a reality. He quoted adversaries themselves acknowledging that the Iranian nation had disrupted their plans.
Addressing Challenges with Resilience
While celebrating Iran’s strengths, Jalili acknowledged that the nation is not without its weaknesses and problems. He stressed the importance of addressing these issues effectively, leveraging opportunities and successful experiences. However, he warned against those who exploit weaknesses to undermine the nation’s inherent strengths. Referring to the “12-day war” and other recent incidents, Jalili noted that while the Iranian people mourn their martyrs, their culture dictates transforming sorrow into epic acts of resilience. He concluded by affirming the nation’s experience in overcoming severe challenges through obedience to the Supreme Leader and adherence to the Holy Quran.
