Epic ‘Lord of the Rings’ Film-Concert Premieres in Tehran Following Cultural Milestone
Tehran – In a significant cultural event, the epic film-concert of “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy is set to premiere in Iran’s capital, building on the successful reception of a similar project for the “Harry Potter” series earlier this year.
A Grand Symphonic Event
The major cinematic concert, produced by the Iranian digital platform Fidibo, will feature a live orchestra and choir of 150 musicians performing Howard Shore’s iconic score. The performance will be synchronized with the most memorable scenes from the acclaimed film trilogy, creating a unique and high-quality audiovisual experience for the audience.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, September 14, 2025, with two showings at 7:15 PM and 10:15 PM at the Espinas Palace venue in Tehran.
Building on a Successful Vision
This project marks the second phase of Fidibo’s grand musical initiative, which it describes as a fusion of “magic, cinema, and literary adaptation.” The first phase was the successful “Harry Potter” film-concert, held over five nights and ten sold-out sessions in June and September 2024. The goal of these productions is to create an immersive experience that transcends a traditional concert or film screening, offering a novel form of cultural entertainment.
