Sunny Friday Forecast for Ardabil, with Incoming Weather System to Bring Significant Changes
Residents of Ardabil province are advised to enjoy a day of pleasant weather tomorrow before a major shift in conditions over the weekend, according to the latest meteorological reports.
A Brief Window of Stable Weather
The General Administration of Meteorology of Ardabil Province announced that based on the latest weather maps, the atmospheric conditions across the province will remain relatively stable from this evening until noon on Thursday. During this period, skies over most areas are expected to be partly cloudy with occasional winds and some increase in cloud cover.
Significant Shift Expected
A notable change is forecast to begin on Thursday afternoon. A rain-bearing system is predicted to move into the region, gradually increasing cloud cover. Scattered showers will commence in some areas, expanding to cover more parts of the province by late Friday. These showers are expected to be heavy at times, accompanied by thunder and lightning.
Substantial Temperature Drop and Extended Rain
The most significant development is forecast for early next week. The strengthening of northern air currents is expected to cause a noticeable and sharp drop in temperature across the province, estimated between 6 to 12 degrees Celsius. From now until Monday morning, consistently foggy skies and intermittent rain are predicted for most areas. Notably, the significant temperature drop, especially in the high altitudes of the province such as Mount Sabalan, is expected to result in snowfall.
Authorities have reiterated the importance of heeding the recommendations issued in the Level Yellow meteorological warning (No. 21). Any further changes in the weather conditions will be included in future forecast bulletins.
