Tractor’s Croatian Midfielder Faces Extended Sideline Due to Injury
In a significant setback for Tractor Tabriz’s campaign, key Croatian defensive midfielder Igor Pustonsky has been ruled out of action for an extended period due to a hamstring injury.
A Key Absence in the Lineup
Pustonsky, who had become a consistent starter under coach Dragan Skočić, sustained the injury during team activities. Medical assessments have confirmed a lengthy recovery period, with the player expected to be unavailable at least until the end of the first half of the season.
Recuperation and Rehabilitation Plan
With the full authorization of Coach Skočić, Pustonsky has traveled to his native Croatia to spend the initial phase of his recovery with his family. Following this period, he is scheduled to return to Tabriz to undergo further specialized treatment and intensive physiotherapy sessions. His anticipated return to the pitch is forecast for early Esfand (the final month of the Iranian calendar).
