Provincial Leadership in Housing Drive
Markazi Province has emerged as a frontrunner in the implementation of the National Housing Scheme, with local officials confirming the successful disbursement of government-backed loans to a significant number of applicants. According to Javad Lanjabi, the acting head of the province’s Road and Urban Development Department, 132 applicants in Markazi have already received their housing loans, placing the province at the forefront of this national effort.
Lanjabi emphasized that follow-up procedures are actively underway to facilitate payments for all remaining applicants. To ensure the initiative’s momentum, the provincial housing headquarters holds weekly meetings dedicated to reviewing progress and resolving potential obstacles in ongoing projects.
Financial Stability for National Projects
In a significant development affirming the program’s financial health, Lanjabi reported that there are currently no overdue debts to contractors working on the National Housing projects within the province. Furthermore, the necessary funds for newly approved project phases are already secured in applicant accounts, awaiting final verification before disbursement. This financial preparedness underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring the seamless execution of its housing agenda.
Focus on Timely Project Completion
The primary objective remains the activation of dynamic and productive construction sites to expedite the delivery of housing units to citizens. Lanjabi specifically highlighted the urgency of completing the 8,112-unit project in Arak, the provincial capital.
Reiterating the improved financial standing of all housing schemes, he assured applicants that there are no impediments to funding. “Citizens can confidently follow the construction and delivery process of their units,” Lanjabi stated, reinforcing the message of a stable and reliable pathway to homeownership under the national plan.
