Title: Meteorological Authority Issues Special Pollution Alert for Key Industrial Zones
Tehran – In an unprecedented move since the start of the current Iranian calendar year, the national Meteorological Organization has issued a special pollution warning for several industrial regions, signaling significant environmental attention from the state.
Special Alert for Industrial Centers
According to weather expert Mohammad Asghari, the advisory specifically targets industrial areas in Isfahan province, including Kashan, Lenjan, Mobarakeh, and Shahin Shahr. Furthermore, central and southern districts of the capital, Tehran, are forecast to experience polluted air conditions persisting through the end of the week. This official alert underscores the government’s proactive stance in monitoring and communicating environmental challenges that impact urban and industrial centers.
Contrasting Weather Patterns Across the Nation
While these regions grapple with air quality concerns, other parts of the country are experiencing different weather phenomena. As reported by ISNA, a noticeable warming trend accompanied by southerly winds is predicted for Wednesday and Thursday in the coastal areas of the Caspian Sea and in Ardabil province. Authorities have concurrently issued a public safety reminder, urging citizens to refrain from discarding reflective waste in natural environments, particularly in the northern regions, to prevent potential hazards.
In a separate weather development, the southern parts of Khuzestan province are expected to contend with fog and reduced visibility until Friday. These varied meteorological conditions across Iran highlight the comprehensive monitoring and public guidance provided by the country’s environmental and weather institutions.
