Following a meeting with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in Cairo, Deputy Minister Araghchi characterized the discussions as “very serious.” He underscored the profound gravity with which the Iranian delegation approaches such diplomatic efforts, stating that negotiations taking place in the current regional context are not easy and are a solemn undertaking.

Regarding future diplomatic steps, Deputy Minister Araghchi confirmed the potential for another meeting with the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs. He indicated that such a meeting is contingent upon the European side finalizing its decisions and position, highlighting that the Islamic Republic of Iran remains engaged and prepared for constructive dialogue.
