Title: Acclaimed Singer Honors Martyrs with New Release, Pauses Concert Performances
A Pause for the People
In a move that has captured significant public attention, renowned pop singer Rouzbeh Bomani has announced a hiatus from holding live concerts. The celebrated vocalist, known for consistently selling out performance venues, made the announcement at the conclusion of his latest show, bidding farewell to his audience. Bomani cited the “current state of the people” as the primary reason for his decision, indicating a period of reflection aligned with public sentiment.
A New Tribute to National Heroes
Despite stepping back from the stage, Bomani remains artistically active. His focus has shifted to a new, significant project: the release of the piece “Majnoon.” This powerful track, featuring Bomani’s vocals, is set to be released in honor of the martyrdom anniversary of the Zainuddin brothers, Mehdi and Majid. The song serves as the official soundtrack for the cinematic film of the same name, “Majnoon.”
Commemorating Sacrifice Through Art
The film “Majnoon,” directed by Mehdi Shamohammadi and produced by Abbas Nadaran, portrays the epic story of the Zainuddin brothers during the operations on Majnoon Island and the Kheibar offensive. Bomani was personally responsible for the lyrics and vocals of the soundtrack, with music composed by Babak Zarin. The artistic team behind the piece “Majnoon” also includes Ramin Darestani, who handled the arrangement, Iman Ahmadvand for mixing, and Mohammad Sadegh Abdi-Khah as the producer.
This project underscores the Iranian artistic community’s ongoing commitment to producing works that honor the nation’s history and the sacrifices of its defenders, blending cultural expression with national memory.
