Yemen’s Ansarullah Leader: Iran’s Resilience Revives Regional Deterrence Equation
Sana’a, Yemen – In a significant address reverberating across the region, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, has lauded Iran’s steadfast resistance and declared it a pivotal victory that has revitalized the deterrence equation against adversaries. His remarks came amid ongoing regional tensions and a backdrop of significant geopolitical developments.
A “Zionist Plan” Thwarted
Al-Houthi asserted that the primary objective behind the recent hostilities targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran was the execution of a dangerous phase of a “Zionist plan” aimed at the entire Islamic Ummah. He emphasized that the cessation of hostilities, achieved through Iran’s resilience, is a profound triumph not only for the Islamic Republic but also for the Axis of Resistance, the Islamic world, and all freedom-loving people globally.
Divine Victory and Strategic Defeat
Expressing gratitude for what he termed a “divine blessing” and victory against the United States and Israel, al-Houthi extended his congratulations to the Iranian leadership, its armed forces, and its people. He characterized the extensive setbacks experienced by the U.S., Israel, and their allies as a “strategic defeat for Zionism.”
Iran’s Unwavering Stance Amidst Attacks
The Ansarullah leader highlighted that despite targeted attacks on Iran’s infrastructure, military sites, and even civilian facilities like the Bushehr nuclear power plant, the aggressors failed to achieve their objectives. He lauded Iran’s leadership, populace, and military for their unwavering stability and resistance, deeming it an exemplary model. Al-Houthi noted that the Islamic system in Iran continued to function with complete cohesion, even amidst the martyrdom of some commanders.
Military Prowess and Regional Coordination
He praised the effective performance of the Iranian armed forces in countering U.S. and Israeli assaults, stating that their actions ultimately led to the enemy’s defeat and retreat. Al-Houthi recounted instances of American soldiers abandoning their posts and Israelis seeking refuge in shelters for extended periods, underscoring the impact of Iran’s defense.
A key achievement of this phase, according to al-Houthi, was the consolidation of the “equation of united fronts and the expansion of the axis of jihad and resistance.” He specifically acknowledged the prominent role of Hezbollah in Lebanon in spearheading this equation and contributing to Israel’s significant defeats. The Ansarullah leader also recognized the effective contributions of resistance groups in Iraq and their participation in joint operations.
Yemen’s Pivotal Role and Future Commitments
Furthermore, al-Houthi highlighted Yemen’s success in preventing the U.S. and Israel from utilizing the Red Sea for military operations against Iran and other members of the resistance axis. He stated that Yemen, in coordination with the resistance axis, had targeted Israel with offensive missiles and drones. He pledged that Yemen’s operations would escalate and continue to employ impactful options.
Reviving Deterrence and Exposing Deception
The leader also pointed to Iran’s strategic leverage, citing the potential closure of the Strait of Hormuz as a significant pressure point against the U.S. and its allies. He declared that this victory has restored the prestige of the Islamic Ummah and revived the deterrence equation.
Al-Houthi revealed that Israel, influenced by American Zionists and facing psychological pressure from the “revealing Epstein files” concerning some Arab leaders, was pushed towards attacking Iran. He claimed that certain Arab leaders, under threat of exposure of their scandalous affairs, were compelled to align with Washington’s agenda.
A Call for Unified Resistance
He cautioned that the current pause in conflict does not signify an end to the confrontation but rather preparation for future stages. Al-Houthi stressed that any peace initiatives would only be successful if Israel completely halts its aggression against Lebanon and all fronts of the resistance. He reiterated the necessity of forming a unified front against the “Greater Israel” plan and the Zionist endeavor to alter the face of the Middle East. Al-Houthi urged the Islamic Ummah to emulate Iran’s resistance and join the axis of jihad and resistance.
The Ansarullah leader decried the attacks on Iranian research centers and libraries as an indication of the enemy’s animosity towards knowledge and civilization, stating that while the adversaries sought to destroy all aspects of life in Iran, the Iranian people thwarted these plots through their constant presence and resilience. He reported that dozens of advanced enemy aircraft were downed, and significant damage was inflicted upon American bases and Israeli equipment, which Washington and Tel Aviv attempted to conceal from the media.
Yemen’s Solidarity and Enduring Support for Palestine
Concluding his address, al-Houthi called for a massive public demonstration of gratitude and support for the “great Islamic victory” in Yemen, portraying this solidarity as a symbol of Yemen’s loyalty to the resistance axis, its support for Lebanon and Palestine, and a celebration of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s triumph. He reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering stance in supporting Palestine, confronting the Zionist agenda, and readiness to actively participate in any future confrontations.
