Title: Negotiations Continue for Retirees’ Healthcare Coverage, Final Agreement Imminent
Ongoing Discussions for Retiree Benefits
Recent reports concerning the status of supplementary medical insurance for retirees have prompted discussions among pensioner communities. This insurance program plays a crucial role in supporting retirees by covering a portion of their medical expenses, thereby alleviating financial pressures.
Clarification from Official Sources
In light of these reports, Ahmad Panjaki, a board member of the Supreme Council of Social Security Retirees, has provided an official update. Mr. Panjaki confirmed that negotiations are actively ongoing and a final agreement has not yet been reached.
“Discussions are still continuing, and a final agreement has not been achieved,” Panjaki stated. He added that as of this morning, meetings were still in session, noting, “There is a possibility that a final agreement will be reached by this evening.”
Dismissal of Premature Reports
Panjaki directly addressed and dismissed information circulating on some media platforms and channels that claimed an agreement had already been finalized. He clarified that discussions are still focused on the details of the new contract.
It is widely anticipated that the new supplementary insurance contract for social security retirees and pensioners will once again be established with the Atieh Sazan Hafez insurance company. The continuation of these vital talks underscores the commitment to securing the welfare of the retiree community.
