Title: Second Phase of Equity Shares Dividend Distributed to Over 44 Million Iranians
Tehran – The Central Securities Depository of Iran has announced the successful completion of the second phase of dividend payouts for the “Equity Shares” scheme, a major national initiative. The distribution was executed through 19 designated agent banks, directly benefiting millions of citizens.
Widespread Distribution of Dividends
According to the official report, a total of 44,079,000 eligible individuals received the disbursement. The dividends varied based on the value of the shareholder’s specific portfolio. The payouts were structured as follows:
- Portfolio value of 452,000 Tomans: 747,000 Tomans dividend.
- Portfolio value of 492,000 Tomans: 814,000 Tomans dividend.
- Portfolio value of 532,000 Tomans: 881,000 Tomans dividend.
- Portfolio value of 1,000,000 Tomans: 1,650,000 Tomans dividend.
Comprehensive Payout Structure
Officials clarified that this dividend payment comprises two key components. A portion is derived from the financial performance of the underlying companies for the previous Iranian year (1402). Additionally, for the second time, benefits accrued from dividends in recent years have also been settled and transferred to shareholders’ accounts.
In a move highlighting the scheme’s inclusivity, this phase also addressed the dividends belonging to approximately 1.05 million deceased beneficiaries. These funds were distributed equitably among their estimated 4.29 million heirs.
Expanded Communication and Banking Infrastructure
The first phase of these dividend payouts was completed late last year. The second phase leveraged a robust network of 19 major national banks to facilitate the transfers, ensuring wide and efficient access for citizens across the country.
To enhance transparency and public awareness, comprehensive notification measures were implemented. Beyond standard SMS alerts from the agent banks, personalized messages detailing the dividend amounts were dispatched to shareholders via four major domestic messaging platforms: “Bale,” “Rubika,” “Soroush Plus,” and “iGap.” This multi-channel approach ensures that beneficiaries are fully informed of the financial benefits allocated to them through this national program.
