Iranian Retirees to Receive Significant Pension Increase with September Payment
Iran’s Social Security Organization has announced a major increase in pension payments, set to be distributed alongside September’s regular stipend. This move is part of a multi-phase plan to implement annual raises and adjustments for the nation’s retirees and pensioners.
Staged Rollout of Increased Payments
In an official statement, the Organization outlined the payment schedule. The second phase of these increased payments will be made to all beneficiaries simultaneously with their September pension, processed through the designated agent banks.
A subsequent third phase, allocated for retirees whose total income from pensions and benefits exceeds 20 million tomans, is scheduled for disbursement after the September payment has been completed.
Ensuring a Smooth Process
To ensure system stability and avoid overloading digital infrastructure—particularly given high traffic at the month’s end and national internet considerations—the Organization has detailed how retirees can access their payment slips. Access to digital pay stubs via the non-attendance services portal at Es.tamin.ir or the “Tamin Man” application will be available from the beginning of the next Iranian month (Mehr).
This careful planning is designed to prevent any potential disruption to the country’s electronic service systems while facilitating efficient and transparent access for all recipients.
Building on Previous Disbursements
This announcement follows the successful completion of the first payment phase, which was executed on September 3rd. That initial disbursement covered all retirees with a total income of up to 20 million tomans, as well as all disabled pensioners. The current phases continue the government’s commitment to enhancing the welfare of its retired community through structured and timely financial support.
