Retirement Funds Update: August Pensions and Back-Pay Set for Disbursement
After a period of anticipation, retirees covered by Iran’s Social Security Organization can expect their August pension payments to be deposited on schedule. In a significant development, these payments are also set to include long-awaited back-pay from the month of Farvardin (March/April), alongside a potential salary adjustment.
Government Commitment to Retirees
Commenting on the process, Mahmoud Sheikh Shoai, the General Director of Kerman Province’s Social Security Office, provided clarity on the situation. “The directive for paying the Farvardin differential has not been officially communicated to us yet,” he stated. “However, upon the fulfillment of the government’s commitments, not only will the Farvardin arrears be settled, but many other issues facing the insured will also be resolved.”
Sheikh Shoai further highlighted the extensive reach of the social security system, noting that over 53% of the country’s population is covered. In Kerman province alone, the number of insured individuals exceeds 1.7 million people.
Payment Schedule Confirmed
Despite circulating rumors of potential delays, the Social Security Organization has officially confirmed that the disbursement of August pensions will proceed according to the regular timetable of previous months. Retirees can expect to receive their funds between the 29th and 31st of the month.
How to Access Your Pension Slip Online
Retirees can easily access their pension payment slips without any need for an in-person visit through the Social Security website or the dedicated “Tamin Man” (My Security) mobile application. The process is simple and free of charge:
- Log in to the Social Security website and select the ‘Pensioners’ section.
- Choose the option ‘View Pensioners’ Salary Slip’.
- Enter the required month and year, your pension number, and the payment type (monthly salary, arrears, or bonus).
The digital platforms also offer a range of other services, including accessing historical payment slips, issuing pension decrees, and requesting loan deduction certificates. For users who have forgotten their password, a ‘password recovery’ option is available to generate new login credentials seamlessly.
The “Tamin Man” app provides particular convenience, allowing pensioners to view and download their salary slips at any time directly from their mobile phones, eliminating the need for any physical paperwork or branch visits. By using their national code and the application, retirees can effortlessly access their financial documents with confidence.
