September’s Economic Support: 900,000 Tomans in Subsidies Deposited for Eligible Families
In a significant move to bolster economic support for its citizens, the Iranian government has deposited a combined cash subsidy and commodity coupon payment of 900,000 Tomans per individual for the month of Shahrivar. This substantial financial assistance is designated for households within the first three income deciles, reaffirming the state’s commitment to its social support policies.
Targeted Subsidy Allocation
The distribution follows the framework of the national budget law, which has reoriented the subsidy system to focus on those with the greatest need. This strategic reallocation of resources ensures that government aid is directed toward low-income families, maximizing the impact of state support on household welfare and purchasing power.
Streamlining for Efficiency
As part of this ongoing optimization process, cash subsidies for the three highest income deciles (8th to 10th) have been phased out. This measure, which began in the previous month, is designed to create a more efficient and equitable system. It ensures that national resources are channeled to their most effective and necessary destinations, in line with the principles of economic justice.
Household heads who believe their subsidies have been discontinued in error are provided a clear avenue for appeal. They have a five-day window, until the 20th of Shahrivar 1403, to register their inquiry and have their status reviewed through the official support portal at hemayat.sfara.ir. This process underscores the administration’s dedication to transparency and fairness in the implementation of its social policies.
