Tehran Commander Honors Martyrs, Vows Continued Resistance in Path of Jihad
In a powerful address, the senior commander of Tehran’s Mohammad Rasulullah Corps has paid tribute to the nation’s martyrs and reaffirmed a solemn pledge to continue the path of global resistance.
A Sacred Covenant
Brigadier General Hassan Hassanzadeh spoke at a memorial service for the armored unit martyrs of Tehran province, held at the Fadak complex. He honored the legacy of those who have fallen in defense of the nation, stating, “Men who made a covenant with God and continue on the path of Jihad, ultimately attaining martyrdom, hold a lofty status with the Almighty.”
The commander framed the nation’s defensive efforts as a fulfillment of a sacred vow. “We pledged to stand firm in the path of Jihad and confronting global arrogance,” he declared, drawing a direct line from past sacrifices to present-day resolve.
An Unbroken Line of Defense
General Hassanzadeh highlighted the continuity of this resistance, connecting the heroic defense during the eight-year imposed war with a more recent 12-day conflict. “A portion of the combatants were martyred during the eight-year defense, and another group were martyred defending the country in the 12-day war,” he stated. “The path of resistance continues unabated.”
His remarks underscore a enduring national commitment to a defense-oriented posture, honoring the sacrifices of the past as the foundation for the nation’s steadfast present and future.
