Oman: A Steadfast Partner in Iran’s Regional Diplomacy
Muscat, Oman – Iran’s Ambassador to Oman, Mousa Farhang, has underscored the enduring strength and strategic importance of the bilateral relationship, highlighting Oman as a paramount regional ally. In a message shared on social media platform X, Farhang characterized the Tehran-Muscat ties as being founded on “trust, sincerity, and a conscious stance on the right side of history.”
He further elaborated that the “learning from experiences” is the very essence that shapes the robust relationship between Iran and the Sultanate. This emphasis on mutual understanding and shared progress comes as Iran actively engages in regional diplomatic outreach.
The statement from Ambassador Farhang coincides with a significant diplomatic tour undertaken by Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi. Araghchi is leading a delegation on a regional visit, which commenced with a trip to Islamabad. Following his engagements in Pakistan, the Deputy Foreign Minister is scheduled to visit Muscat and Moscow, further solidifying Iran’s commitment to constructive engagement with key international partners. This continued high-level dialogue signals Iran’s dedication to fostering stable and cooperative relationships across the region.
